This is Alto Shirogane! Lover of shoujo since 2004, when I read Tokyo Mew Mew & watched Sailor Moon. Player of otoge since 2012, when I tried out Hakuoki on my PSP. I have been avidly consuming both genres since then, and am happy both industries have grown so much here in the west.
Ever an avid reader & writer, I’ve done proofreading for manga localization and do editing, proofreading, & beta testing for otome games.

A plethora of hobbies, interests, and the pursuit of self-improvement keeps me very busy. Art, writing, video editing, game dev – I try it all. I can be found writing, reading, learning, drawing on other platforms such as IRIAM, Twitch, or even Youtube. If you look around hard enough you may find that I also sing & VA, but under a different stage name.
Here you’ll find me writing mostly about manga and games. Reviews, comparisons, interviews, promotions, and so on! I like to keep my life neat and compartmentalized, so anything that doesn’t fit on my twitter, Youtube, or twitch, probably goes here.
In my day-to-day I work as a specialist tech librarian. I also volunteer for a cat rescue, as I’m also very passionate about cats.
